About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our Quick Service Restaurant location at the heart of Oakland. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background with a well-renowned QSR brand where she/he has scaled the operations through growing the people, has exceptional eye for product quality and customer service and has a keen financial acumen to deliver profitability. Applicants without a strong General Manager experience for at least 3 years at a reputable QSR company will not be contacted

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years General Manager experience with a well-established QSR brand
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proven ability to manage P&L and operational metrics
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for hospitality and team development
  • Business acumen for growing sales and profitability
  • A deep understanding of local and federal labor laws

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and brand standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams to achieve high performance
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to enhance the leadership capabilities within the team
  • Drive sales, profitability, and cost controls (labor, food and inventory)
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and resolve guest concerns promptly
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, health, and company policies
  • Analyze KPI`s and implement action plans to improve results
  • Recruit, hire, train and retain top talent
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the restaurant
  • Achieve and exceed financial targets, including revenue goals, profitability, and cost control
  • Ensure the restaurant is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Minimum of 5-6 days of work week
  • Oversee and manage all reporting and documentation related to restaurant operations, including sales, employee performance, inventory, and compliance records
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure all standards are being met
