About The Position

The Quote Support Specialist delivers accurate, compliant quotes for data center products and services by coordinating with Sales, Finance, Engineering, and other teams. The position requires attention to detail and process orientation in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a quality checkpoint—ensuring every quote meets pricing policies, product standards, accuracy requirements, and internal approval rules. This role is critical to maintaining data integrity, reducing order issues, and supporting a smooth quote-to-order process.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, order management, pricing, quoting, QA, or similar support roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using CRM/CPQ platforms (Salesforce, Revenue Management.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with Sales teams.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple reviews quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of pricing structures, margin calculations, and discount processes.
  • Familiarity with complex product catalogues (hardware, software, services, etc.).
  • Experience in QC/QA roles or audit-focused environments.
  • Experience supporting: Data center, infrastructure, or services-based pricing models Ramps, escalators, renewals, and OTC structures
  • Familiarity with billing compliance, audit, or QA environments
  • Comfort acting as an authority and educator with Sales partners

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance reviews on sales quotes generated by Sales or CPQ tools.
  • Validate pricing accuracy, product configurations, discount levels, and margin compliance.
  • Ensure quotes follow company policies, approval workflows, and contractual guidelines.
  • Identify inconsistencies or errors (pricing, product, terms, tax, SKU alignment, etc.) and work with Sales to resolve them.
  • Maintain standardized QA checklists, processes, and documentation.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to clarify quote requirements or escalate exceptions.
  • Update CRM/CPQ fields or internal systems when corrections are needed.
  • Monitor recurring issues and recommend process improvements to reduce quote defects.
  • Track quality metrics, turnaround times, and compliance trends for reporting.
