About The Position

FoodScience is a leading force in the pet supplement industry, pioneering new formulations that address a wide range of pet health concerns. As the R&D Associate, working under direction of the Formulation Manager, you will be a key, hands-on partner in the product development and formulation improvement processes in the Williston Vermont facility.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Nutritional Science, or a related field with a strong focus on pet health and nutrition.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pet supplement formulation (or related field), ideally with a proven track record of successful product launches.
In-depth understanding of pet physiology, nutrient requirements, supplement interaction, and manufacturing considerations.
Demonstrated expertise in translating scientific research into practical, commercially viable, and scalable pet supplement formulations.
Experience working with various pet supplement delivery methods (tablets, chews, liquids, etc.) and their unique manufacturability challenges.
Excellent understanding of current regulatory requirements for pet supplements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize formulations for efficacy, safety, and manufacturability.
Impeccable attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Proficiency in formulation software, research databases, and potentially manufacturing software.
