This profile is intended for students in their final year of a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or graduates of Engineering or Information Technology. We are seeking a motivated R&D Engineering Intern to work on engineering projects to support the team’s initiatives and process/product improvements. Assist the team with tasks set out by the manager and continuously learn the technical aspects of the role. Participate in meetings and closely collaborate with team members and other teams in the organization while learning to work independently. About your role: Contribute to the design of components for electronic safety systems: Electrical Engineers: Design and layout printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). Mechanical Engineers: Design enclosures and mechanical interfaces. Computer Engineers / Computer Scientists: Develop embedded firmware and software tools. Test, validate, and troubleshoot prototypes and systems. Analyze test results and prepare technical documentation. Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions. Learn about the product development lifecycle, from concept through prototyping and validation. About you: Education Field: Engineering, Information Technology Experience/Skills: Students in their last year of bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, or graduates looking for requalification who would be eligible to take a full-time role or role in the RISE Engineering Development Program after the internship. Proactive and eager to learn Team player with the ability to learn to work independently Strong communication skills Knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new technology quickly Demonstrated interest in hands-on design and development through coursework, personal projects, other internships, or extracurriculars. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Available to work 40 hours per week during summer 2026.
