Summary: The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful professional hands-on experience to students with leadership potential and proven academic performance. Werfen hires students majoring in Engineering and Life Sciences fields into this internship program based on business need. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with hands-on laboratory skills and creative problem-solving abilities. Position Description: Accountable for the completion of assigned deliverables in accordance with approved schedules. The Intern will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the team included hands-on laboratory work with instrumentation, generating reports and data analyses, and collaborating with other departments. We expect the intern to gain an in-depth knowledge of the product and its associated processes, particularly the process activities in-which they will be directly involved. The intern will have opportunities to assist in nearly all aspects of the workflow. Key Attributes: Confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Enthusiasm, motivation, initiative and ability to work within an interactive and energetic workplace. Contributes to experimental procedures, engineering testing, software updates, and verification protocols and reports. Performs research on technology, equipment and tooling to improve performance, usability, and reliability. Generates proposals for next steps. Assistance in creating, reviewing and maintaining hardware-related files. Performs experiments, analyzes and interprets numerical data from experiments, presents findings to the team.
