Our facility in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks an early career Program Planner to join our mission supporting the Lockheed Martin Space IGNITE organization which is responsible for the research and development of new technologies. IGNITE performs game-changing research, develops ground-breaking products for internal and external sale, and accelerates technology development at an unheard-of rate for Space. Requirements

• Proficiency in a scheduling tool such as MS Project or Open Plan (preferred)
• Experienced at developing/maintaining Network Schedules including integrity checks, critical path analysis, and Schedule Risk Analysis
• Experience delivering project briefings to internal and external customers
• Experience with Cost / Schedule Integration
• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience in planning or program management related discipline
• Earned Value Management Certification
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development
• Experience with OnePager or Milestones Pro
• Demonstrated team building skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work well in team environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills will be critical for success.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Partner with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance
• Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute IRAD (Internal Research & Development).
• Provide the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data
• Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored, and statused
• Prepare/coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response
• Interface with program management, senior management, and the customer as the program’s planning integrator
• Gain exposure to vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts
