Key Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include the following, but are not limited to) Computer skills: Ability to operate various computer programs related to their position for time recording, access to shop planning and business instructions. Read, interpret and work to; drawings, schematics, wiring lists and diagrams, work instructions, sketches, travelers, planning and verbal directions. Perform related duties as required and have the ability to perform all duties of R-16 Job Classification. Set up and maintain work station and related materials, includes set up of solder and cleaning stations, control of age controlled items and hazardous materials and consumables. Perform material identification and paint touch up. May give work direction/training to other employees as assigned. May perform verification of other employees work. Must be able to obtain other certificates, licenses and registrations required for their positions as defined in the qualifications below. Maintain the work area and perform duties in a safe manner. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Related experience and or training are desirable. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, percent and interpret graphs. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with other employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to question instructions when they are unclear. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Fork Truck Certification. ESD Handling Certification. Work Saver Usage Training. Crane Operator Training. Hazardous Material Handling and Shipping Training. Security Clearance when required. Solder and wire certification including visual acuity and color perception tests.
