Sales Associate, Racquet Shop ($15.16 /hr.)

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or knowledge of tennis and tennis equipment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ months of retail or office experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including; Outlook, Word, Excel
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Handle all opening and closing procedures
- Operate computer and cash register
- Assist with bi-annual inventory
- Maintain overall order of Racquet Shop
- Keep shoe room clean, with sizes in order
- Answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise
- Take court reservations and tennis/pickleball lesson reservations over telephone and in person
- Interact and coordinate with teaching staff to ensure guest needs are met
- Assist with maintenance of staff restroom
- Monitor level of guest towels and alert pros when you need more
- Monitor all shop supplies and forms, including but not limited to; daily lesion sheets/logs, register and journal tape, general office supplies
- Assist Director of Tennis with tennis reservations
- Attend all Racquet staff meetings and report on your area of responsibility
- Communicate with existing and prospective clientele by telephone to increase participation and to ensure that clinics, camps, and programs are filled
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
