About The Position

Join a stable, physician-owned outpatient clinic where you can focus on patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment without nights, weekends, or holidays. The Radiology Technologist (ARRT) works under general supervision to assist the Lead Radiologic Technologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; assists with processing overread requests; and routes patients and/or their x-ray images to the appropriate PACS worklist. The Rad Tech will also perform EKGs and assist with putting on Holter monitors for the Cardiology Tech.Schedule & Work-Life Balance: Clinic Hours are 7:30 AM-5:30 PM Monday-Friday No night, weekend, or holiday hours This position may have the option to work 4 10 hour days. Requirements

Graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program
A.R.R.T. Certification is MANDATORY, LLRT should not apply for this position as many of the exams performed will not fall under their scope
12 to 18 months related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic procedures as required; achieve a high level of film quality
Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum
Obtain patient history as needed
Act as an agent to obtain radiologic information to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment
Perform EKGs
Train in Treadmill Testing
Train in Holter monitor hookup
