About The Position
A medical facility in Houston is seeking a Radiation Oncology Therapist to assist in administering radiation therapy treatments. The professional will work closely with physicians and oncology staff to deliver safe and effective care.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience with Linear Accelerator (LINAC) systems
- ARRT Certification required
- BLS Certification (AHA)
Responsibilities
- Perform patient setup for radiation therapy procedures
- Deliver radiation treatments according to prescribed plans
- Operate and monitor LINAC equipment
- Ensure proper documentation of treatments
- Communicate patient progress with the care team
