Scope of work Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered IR technologist (VI), performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Scrubs in with the interventional physician, technologist and practices sterile technique, prepares the sterile tray with the appropriate supplies and assists the physician/Technologist with procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of relevant experience
- must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program
Nice To Haves
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire required
Responsibilities
