About The Position

Radiologic Technologist – OR Location: The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods | Boardman, Ohio Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, Day Shift (No evenings, no weekends, no call) Southwoods Health is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our elite surgical team. You will play a critical role in providing high-quality intraoperative imaging while ensuring the safety and efficiency of every surgical procedure. Requirements

• ARRT Registered
• Valid Radiologic Technologist License for the State of Ohio
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced surgical environment

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred
• Prior OR/C-Arm experience is a major plus

Responsibilities

• Surgical Imaging: Competently perform X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures as required for each surgery, accurately interpreting physician orders and directions.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all personnel are appropriately shielded before activating X-rays; maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and OSHA guidelines.
• Equipment Management: Test, monitor, and calibrate imaging equipment for proper function; handle all instruments correctly to ensure patient safety and immediate availability.
• Clinical Support: Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids; remain available during procedures to provide timely responses to physician and patient needs.
• Documentation: Accurately maintain patient records and required Quality Control (QC) documentation in compliance with Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
• Quality Assurance: Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized work area and ensuring all processes align with the Ohio Revised Code.
