About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / Radiographer for a 13-week contract assignment in a busy diagnostic radiology department. The selected professional will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate image acquisition to support physician diagnosis.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (including military programs)
- ARRT Certification: Required
- Active state Radiologic Technologist license: Required
Nice To Haves
- BLS Certification: Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and radiation protection at all times
- Produce high-quality images to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any issues promptly
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff
