About The Position

Gainesville Pain Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time Radiologic
Technologist to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our
surgery centers in Gainesville and Buford.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, plus one Friday per month
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
C-Arm/Operating Room experience preferred
Travel to Buford surgery center required

Requirements

• A valid and current GA Radiologic Technologist license
• A valid and current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
• C-arm/Operating Room experience preferred
• Current BLS
• The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity
• Ability to travel, as needed

Nice To Haves

• C-arm/Operating Room experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm in a procedural setting to obtain optimum imaging results, using technical/clinical knowledge and ability.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and the exam process by performing effective positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment according to specific instructions, and adjusting exposure controls.
• Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment, and answering any questions.
