Radiology Intern - Medical Imaging - UH Truman Medical Center (varied shifts per week)
About The Position
Join Our Radiology Team! We’re looking for a Radiologic Intern to perform diagnostic radiographs, operate imaging equipment, and assist in patient care. You’ll work closely with a Registered Radiologic Technologist, gain hands-on experience, and be part of a supportive team! Working at University Health is about making a difference. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Senior student status in an AMA Radiologic Technology Program or advanced status in an accredited ultrasound training program
- Strong communication skills to assist and explain procedures to patients
- Knowledge of human development to work with patients of all ages
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to assist with patient movement
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographs and operate imaging equipment
- Prepare patient rooms, supplies, and medications
- Provide patient services using imaging modalities
- Work under the guidance of a Radiology Supervisor
