About The Position

This is a casual position working varied shifts and varied hours per week. This individual can be cross trained within the department as necessary for the smooth operation of the department.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Must be registered with the ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or certified as a CNMT by the NMTCB.
• Must apply for an Ohio license through the Ohio Department of Health
• CPR certification is required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of principles of direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operates nuclear medicine equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures producing high-quality images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
• Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Responsible for all required paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Exam.
• Responsible for accurately entering all patient charges.
• Displays an understanding of procedures and equipment utilized throughout the department.
• Helps in supervising and training of student technologists.
