Requirements

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required- and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography
  • Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification. Re-certification of existing employees is due within 1 month of expiration date.
  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
  • Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy when performing CT.
  • Proficiency with X-Ray and when performing CT will have knowledge or will be trained of CT equipment, hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 1 or more years of radiologic/imaging and/or CT Scanning experience if performing CT.
  • Prefer CT Scanning Certification when performing CT or certification or secondary modality whenappropriate for job duties.

Responsibilities

  • The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.
  • Functions as one of the first line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
