About The Position

Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk, VA, is currently hiring a Radiology Technologist for a part time, weekend day shift. 10K Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates! Hours Saturday and Sunday: 9am - 6:30pm Overview Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. The Advanced Imaging Center at BelleHarbour is conveniently located on the campus of Sentara BelleHarbour in Western Tidewater. The center is home to a 3T MRI, CT, PET CT, full digital mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry, PVL (vascular imaging services), non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, and digital X-ray. Physicians and patients also benefit from the expertise of our sub-specialized radiologists who ensure accurate results from the high quality images. Our sub-specialties include women’s imaging, musculoskeletal (MSK), body and neuroradiology. Requirements

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)
• ARRT (R) (Required at time of hire)
• BLS

Responsibilities
