About The Position

The Radiology Technologist functions independently within the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The technologist performs a wide range of complex diagnostic testing in the subject areas of radiology, quality assurance, and bone densitometry and demonstrates these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Radiology Technologist Overview Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prioritizes work to achieve efficient patient outcomes Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedure Evaluates imaging results for diagnostic quality Delivers care as delegated by the RN to assigned patient populations or individual patient Demonstrates the ability to deliver care or service while adjusting approaches to reflect the developmental level of population served

Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree in Radiation Technology
  • Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology
