Job Description: QUALIFICATIONS Education Required: Completed an accredited Radiology Technology Program and be registry eligible for ARRT. Must be obtained ARRT within 12 months of hire. Education Preferred: Associates Degree in a Radiology Technology Experience Preferred: At least one year of experience QUALIFICATIONS Education Required: Completed an accredited Radiology Technology Program and be registry eligible for ARRT. Education Preferred: Associates Degree in a Radiology Technology Experience Preferred: At least one year of experience JOB FUNCTIONS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs exams utilizing ALARA standards (As Low as Reasonably Acceptable). Completes diagnostic imaging examinations following established exam protocols established by Radiologists. Enters examinations correctly, ensuring accurate and informative documentation and appropriate charges are entered. Electronically sends and stores images and data appropriately in PACS. Maintains all department records and logs to monitor quality and safety in accordance with departmental policies. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
