Who We Are As a Precision Vehicle Holdings company, Precision Vehicle Logistics was originally created in 2014. Precision Vehicle Logistics is focused on yard management working in partnership with labor unions. PVL offers a full range of vehicle processing services for origin facilities, destination ramps, and ports – including rail loading and unloading. What You’ll Do As an essential member of the Operations team, you will play a vital role in preparing new vehicles for rail transport, with a strong focus on safety. Success in this role will require the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Strong driving skills with an exemplary level of safety awareness, quality, and compliance.
Proficiency in operating handheld scanners and other equipment such as bridge plates, end doors, and mobile loading ramps.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Must hold a current, valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Safely driving and parking new vehicles in designated holding lots or facilities.
Carefully selecting vehicles for loading based on predefined criteria.
Ensuring the quality handling and distribution of new vehicles post-production.
Utilizing scanning technology to accurately assign vehicles to railcars.
Conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Efficiently loading, securing, and unloading vehicles onto and from train railcars in alignment with AAR and Customer standards.
Collaborating closely with team members to maintain operational efficiency.
Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors to support operational needs.
