Requirements

Needs mechanical abilities
Must be available to work overtime, weekends, & be on call

Responsibilities

Inspect machinery and equipment to determine adjustments or repairs needed
Diagnose mechanical problems in machinery and equipment
Lubricate machinery, equipment, or parts
Operate shuttle wagon, payloader, forklift, JD tractor
Consult with managerial and supervisory personnel and maintain open communication
Move or lift heavy objects, as needed and operate equipment in a safe manner
Keep track of inventory
Understand service or repair manuals
Read and comprehend railcar schematics
Support bulk loaders and railcar cleaners during downtime and work as an effective team member
