About the Role Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently recruiting a Weekend shift Forklift Reach Truck Operator. This position will be based at Manufacturing facility in Bordentown, NJ. This position will begin on the first shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • 2 Years Experience operating a Reach Truck
  • Basic Mathematics, Reading and Writing
  • RF SCANNERS & Basic Computer Skills
  • Safe operation of PIT equipment
  • General knowledge of Distribution, Stocking & Logistics
  • Ability to safely work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to handle multiple work assignments and prioritize accordingly to assure completion.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety regulations and practices within the warehouse to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Operate reach truck equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner within a warehouse environment.
  • Basic knowledge of operating mobile equipment and reporting malfunctions.
  • Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
  • Participate in inventory counts and audits as required, using the reach truck to access and verify stock levels in high shelving units.
  • Keep the warehouse (and facility) clean, organized and efficiently maintained.
  • Coordinate and communicate with production teams (on all shifts) about daily warehouse plan.
  • Focus on continually improving the workflow of the area.
  • Ability to read and interpret the production schedule and associated documents.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
