About the Role Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently recruiting a Weekend shift Forklift Reach Truck Operator. This position will be based at Manufacturing facility in Bordentown, NJ. This position will begin on the first shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- 2 Years Experience operating a Reach Truck
- Basic Mathematics, Reading and Writing
- RF SCANNERS & Basic Computer Skills
- Safe operation of PIT equipment
- General knowledge of Distribution, Stocking & Logistics
- Ability to safely work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to handle multiple work assignments and prioritize accordingly to assure completion.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety regulations and practices within the warehouse to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Operate reach truck equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner within a warehouse environment.
- Basic knowledge of operating mobile equipment and reporting malfunctions.
- Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits as required, using the reach truck to access and verify stock levels in high shelving units.
- Keep the warehouse (and facility) clean, organized and efficiently maintained.
- Coordinate and communicate with production teams (on all shifts) about daily warehouse plan.
- Focus on continually improving the workflow of the area.
- Ability to read and interpret the production schedule and associated documents.
- Additional duties as assigned.
