About The Position

Real Estate Transactional Attorney (Per Diem) We are a respected company located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, seeking a Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join our team on a per diem basis . This is a great opportunity for a skilled attorney looking for flexible, project-based work with a dynamic and growing firm. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, amendments, and closing documents Assist with due diligence for commercial and residential real estate transactions Coordinate with clients, lenders, and other professionals to ensure smooth closings Provide clear legal guidance on transactional matters, including risk assessment and compliance Keep abreast of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations affecting transactions Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school with an active New York Bar membership Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in real estate transactional law Strong understanding of commercial and residential real estate transactions Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines efficiently Detail-oriented, organized, and professional in client interactions What We Offer: Flexible per diem schedule , ideal for attorneys seeking supplemental income or part-time opportunities Exposure to a wide range of real estate transactions, both commercial and residential Collaborative and supportive work environment in a prestigious Upper East Side location Location: Upper East Side, New York, NY Schedule: Flexible per diem hours, as needed

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school with an active New York Bar membership
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in real estate transactional law
  • Strong understanding of commercial and residential real estate transactions
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and professional in client interactions
