Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • Minimum of six (6) months related experience and/or training
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and keep HiLo Certification
  • Operate Hi Lo, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery in a safe manner always.
  • Willingness to attend proper safety training sessions as required and wear PPE in designated areas
  • Must be flexible and adaptable and utilize downtime properly
  • Maintain and display strong attendance habits by being present and on time.
  • Ability to read and interpret various measurement instruments
  • Proactively solve problems within own work area.
  • Proactively participates in Kaizen events and creates a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required walking and stand
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Frequently required to push 300 - 400 pounds on average on a rolling cart up an incline.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all activities and tasks necessary to receive product into the Aspen system, including, but not limited to:
  • Support the quality system knowledge including the quality manual, quality policy, and applicable procedures and work instructions.
  • Physical unload of product, ensuring products and supplies are unloaded and received on the dock in an efficient, accurate and safe manner.
  • Verify packing slips for correct products and amounts.
  • Verify certificate of conformance and sterility on dock to stock product.
  • Systematically receive product into IFS.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and filing in timely, complete, and accurate manner
  • Accurately prints and labels product.
  • Place raw materials and supplies in proper location after inspections are completed.
  • Responsible for skid wrapping where required.
  • Ensure that products delivered for office personal are taken to the correct building daily.
  • Ensure that required communications are sent in timely and professional way regarding:
  • Recycling trailer/skid needs
  • Skids needed daily.
  • Kanbans receiving is responsible for
  • Conduct all communications, via phone, email, and Teams in a professional manner
  • When counting discrepancies or missing paperwork, immediately contact the supply chain or your manager.
  • Train on all applicable work instructions and has ability to proficiently train all applicable work instructions to others. While training others, ensures all training is done in accordance with the requirements for the job.
  • Notify manager of safety concerns, accidents, injuries, near miss or property damage the same day
  • Overtime and weekend work frequently required
  • Maintain 6S work environment – cleanliness and organization. Follows gowning procedures and keeps warehouse clean.
  • Participates positively in department meetings.
