We are hiring a Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours, a drive to excel in fast-paced environments. Post-offer background check & drug screen are required. Hiring for a Receiving Clerk on 1st Shift to work with the Inbound Team. Monday - Friday from 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM Building Incentive Plan

Requirements

  • A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
  • General computer skills for basic data entry
  • Maintain a professional demeanor representing Ferguson with non-Ferguson employees (drivers).

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Inbound freight and process documentation and inspections
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal partners to schedule and maintain appointments – utilizing methods of Outlook and our WMS.
  • Prepare paperwork and receipt documentation for associates and remove barriers as needed.
  • Assess and assign priority loads as defined in partnership with department leadership.
  • Data entry and inventory process experience strongly preferred
  • Effectively communicate with associates and display collaboration in completing task assignments
  • Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
  • Complete tasks using hand-held RF units / scanners
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas
  • Accurately sort, label, and store picked product safely in containers or on pallet
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management
  • Responsible for accurately and safely completing assigned tasks
  • General computer and math skills
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization
