Summary: Provides administrative, clerical and inspection support to include entering and updating incoming and outgoing shipments. Compares and identifies material certifications, counts and weights verifying information against bills of loading, invoices, orders, or other records. Inspect material to verify shape, size and weld seam structure and location. Responsibilities & Duties: Examines shipment contents and compares with records, such as manifests, bill of ladings, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. Enters material certifications responding to all related requests. Electronically files purchase orders, packing slip forms, freight documentation, incoming inspections of product and other internal receiving documentation. Inspect incoming material for shape, size, weld seam location and surface of the product. Provides support for miscellaneous activities, such as sorting and or reworking products to help other areas as needed. Follow and comply with all safety regulations and work rules and maintain clean and orderly work area This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
