Receiving Specialist - Fife, WA
About The Position
HPM Building Supply in Fife, Washington is seeking to hire a full-time Receiving Specialist to join our West Coast Distribution Center. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for efficiently and accurately shipping and receiving freight through internal/external freight carriers in a fast-paced work environment. The Receiving Specialist works with a team to offload vendor deliveries, receive and sort products by location, complete all necessary paperwork, and optimally load containers to Hawai'i locations, following all regulations for vessel transport safely and efficiently. The typical schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with lunch 11:30 am -12:30 pm
Requirements
- Receiving experience and knowledge is highly preferred
- Physical requirements include the ability to bend, stretch, reach, twist, squat, reach, climb a ladder, stand for extended periods, and exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
- Basic computer skills
