Position Summary: Under the Supervision of the PACE Assistant Manager, ensures all visitors and participants are welcomed and screened. Answer telephones, greets, assists, and directs visitors, patients and other clinic office callers. Essential Functions of the Job: Greets people upon arrival, answers telephones, routes callers, provides information to visitors, staff and participants. Responsible for checking in all participants and visitors upon arrival to the Day Center. Assists all visitors and participants by providing guidance and directions. Calls for an escort when necessary. Ongoingly tracks daily attendance and monitors transportation services as appropriate. Schedules appointments as needed. Is knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and makes recommendations to improve service delivery (as appropriate). Knowledgeable of PACE eligibility criteria and can speak to interested parties of basic PACE criteria. Assists in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Provides assistance to PACE Center Leadership as needed. Interfaces, assists, and acts as liaison between PACE Administration and other departments. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. Attends meetings as required. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
