About The Position

Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Recovery Services Program Manager. This position will be responsible for oversight of the Substance Use Disorder team activity and functions. This includes outpatient substance use disorder treatment, drug treatment court, medication assistant treatment, and recovery ally services, including sober housing support services.

Requirements

  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II in the State of Oregon
  • Demonstrate competence in leadership, wellness, oversight and evaluation of services and staff development
  • Knowledge or ability to learn about Medicaid, Oregon Health Authority (OHA), and related State and Federal health care regulations to include Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and statutes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized.
  • Knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Have and maintain an Oregon or Washington Driver’s license and meet the agency’s insurance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management and coordination of programs listed above, this includes managing and coordinating necessary referrals within and outside of the organization.
  • Supervise the Medication Assisted Treatment Clinic.
  • Work with Director of Recovery and CBH leadership on program growth and development, this includes curriculum oversight, implementation, increasing referrals and client base, community outreach and engagement.
  • Supervise Recovery Ally Lead in managing and supporting the recovery ally/ peer support team.
  • Provide needed oversight, supervision, and support to Recovery Ally Team Lead
  • Oversee Recovery Ally responsibilities and SUD services connected to CBH supported sober living facilities. This includes managing, processing and screening referrals, assisting to resolve resident conflict, ensuring clinical curriculum is implemented and followed.
  • Ensure clinical services are efficacious.
  • Engage community partners in process and conversation related to sober living units when necessary.
  • Facilitate Agate House Committee meetings and process.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to team members. Supervision includes clinical standards of care, documentation compliance, caseload/utilization management, productivity, and credential supervision if applicable.
  • Maintain record/documented supervision notes of all assigned staff, ensure appropriate and timely storage of all notes.
  • Develop work schedules; approve timecards for team.
  • Facilitate and/or participate in regular team and leadership meetings.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the profession.
  • Facilitate the handling of crisis response, for in clinic situations.
  • Work in partnership with the Adult Outpatient Program Manager to ensure the clinician of the day schedule is up to date, implemented and effective.
  • Manage, update, and submit all reports required for SUD programs on time.
  • Work in partnership with all CBH program managers and provide backup coverage as needed.
  • Provide direct services and coverage for assigned programs as needed.
  • Program Manager will oversee outpatient clinical staff including SUD, MAT clinic, and Recovery Ally teams.
  • Other duties as assigned
