Recreation Aide (Per diem)
About The Position
Surge Rehabilitation and Nursing has Per diem opportunities for Recreation Aides Schedule: Per diem, weekends as needed Requirements: A high school diploma and certain certifications may be required. More education or experience with nursing homes, short-term rehabilitation, recreational activities, event planning, or related may be preferred. Physical fitness's, ability to walk, dance, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands. Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills. Excellent resource management and record-keeping Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds. Flexibility to work when needed, especially some evenings, weekends and holidays. Willingness to adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: Outgoing, warm, upbeat, energetic and caring personality. Ability to create a program to get Residents involved and excited. Dependable, Reliable and able to supervise activities, special events for the Residents. Demonstrates good listening and communication skills and follow through. Must be reliable, fun and engaging for Resident activities. Must have Long term care experience. Must work as a team player.
