The Opportunity Tasks: Identifies and builds community partnerships to generate candidates in alignment with organization's hiring and program objectives. Develops and implements creative sourcing strategies to identify candidates and craft a pipeline of talent for open positions. Utilize market analytics to influence and inform on workforce and location strategy. Expert technology navigation to include Candidate Relationship Management and AI systems. Identifies and champions people, process, and technology enhancements Identifies and supports training opportunities. Performs full life cycle recruiting utilizing various recruitment methods for complex, niche skill sets. Coordinates with internal and external partners to establish networks and relationships in support of our military, diversity and college hiring requirements with minimal direction. Follows up and follows through on all submitted candidates in a timely manner and ensures that the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) is kept up to date in real time and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Regulatory requirements. Leveraging defined job descriptions, develops compelling job posting descriptions to attract talent and strives to differentiate USAA from our competitors. Keeps candidates continually informed with high-touch communication throughout the entire hiring process Negotiates complex total compensation packages within approved range, maintaining a fiduciary responsibility to the company. Leads and facilitates cross-functional teams in the strategy development and implementation of business hiring solutions. Manages complex recruiting initiatives and is a lead strategic partner to identified business lines in development of recruiting plans. Supports and mentors coworkers through the recruiting processes to maintain compliance within external and internal regulatory agencies. Applies and shares expert knowledge of recruiting discipline(s), specifically employment law, policies and procedures. Extends offers to candidates and leverages expert knowledge about the competitive landscape and our internal total rewards package to help close candidates. Serves as a technical leader to team members on escalations and policy guidance. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 8 years progressive work experience in general human resources, and/or account relationship management, to include knowledge of applicable employment laws, with at least 4 years in staffing or search environment.
  • Extensive experience with full cycle recruiting.
  • Expert knowledge of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of recruiting methods, strategies and develops and shares best practices and serves as a resource for team members.
  • Subject Matter Expert evaluating and communicating labor market analytics.
  • Subject Matter Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and other software to support sourcing tools and techniques.
