The Role: Recruiting and HR Specialist Who You Are: You’re an established HR professional well versed in recruiting, employee onboarding, and orientation. Building relationships comes naturally to you, making it easy to nurture and pipeline prospective candidates for the company. You’re skilled at setting priorities and can effortlessly shift your focus through the recruiting and onboarding of our new employees, while also assisting with HR generalist type work. Our primary client base includes commercial and multi-family real estate owners and property managers, and the most common areas we install our emergency phones are in elevators and at pool sides. We design, build, sell, install, service, and monitor those phones. Our Emergency Dispatch Center (EDC) provides 24/7/365 service to help dispatch local emergency services to people in distress. Requirements

  • 3 years of Recruiting
  • 1 year of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related
  • Ability to maintain varying requisition loads
  • Prior recruiting and HRIS software experience
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Ability to pivot quickly and be proactive in addressing HR needs
  • Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive data
  • Recognize and provide good customer service (internal/external)
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm, focused, and professional
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills, be dependable, resourceful, flexible, and a team player
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, prioritization, and drive for success needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage requisitions from post to hire.
  • Provide daily support for multiple hiring managers including process management, and regular progress follow up, etc.
  • Conduct phone screens and provide candidate feedback to hiring managers.
  • Daily upkeep of requisitions and candidate statuses within the ATS.
  • Exhibit a knowledge of the legal requirements related to the hiring and management of employees
  • Create offer letters, process background checks, order drug screens, and conduct reference checks.
  • Initiate the onboarding paperwork, complete I9 and new hire documents, and complete the onboarding process.
  • Provide orientation to new employees and review company policies.
  • Manage onboarding process including updating electronic forms and conducting 90 day follow up meetings.
  • Maintain the personnel files, recordkeeping, and documentation required to comply with federal, state, and local laws .
  • Priority projects and other duties outside typical recruiting activity.
  • All other duties as assigned.
