About The Position

Bunzl is seeking a Recruiting Intern to join our Talent Acquisition & Development team for Summer 2026. This internship offers hands-on exposure to full-cycle recruiting in a corporate environment and is designed for students interested in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition. As a Recruiting Intern, you will partner closely with an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition professional to support hiring efforts across the organization. You’ll gain practical experience in candidate screening, interview coordination, employer branding, and recruiting operations—while developing skills that translate directly into a future HR or recruiting career. You will work M-F, day shift (40hrs) in our St. Louis, MO (Creve Coeur) office for the summer. There MAY be opportunity to extend the work to 10-20 hrs/ week during the school year. Compensation for this position is $17/hour. What You’ll Learn & Do Responsibilities: Review incoming applications and evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements Assist with creating and posting job descriptions across multiple platforms Coordinate and schedule recruiter and hiring manager interviews using Microsoft Teams Observe Talent Acquisition team meetings and hiring manager updates to understand candidate flow and decision-making Observe and participate in candidate interviews, gaining exposure to interview structure, behavioral questioning, and evaluation techniques Support candidate experience by sending timely status updates and communications Learn how to build and manage a LinkedIn candidate pipeline, including effective outreach messaging Gain exposure to compensation discussions, including market rates, job postings, and offer considerations Learn and utilize Bunzl’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Support additional recruiting and HR-related projects as needed This role is intentionally designed to provide real responsibility, not just observation.
