About The Position

The Recruiting Manager oversees all aspects of recruitment, staffing, on-boarding process, new hire orientation, and 732's 30-60-90 introductory period for team members and all workforce. This role ensures the selection of qualified candidates who align with the mission, values, and business objectives of Goodwill of Orange County and onboarding focused on continued employment. This position leads and manages the full-cycle of the recruitment process, ensuring a high-quality and consistent candidate experience. Support Human Resources leadership by analyzing recruitment data, monitoring outcomes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. OTHER: Ability to communicate effectively to facilitate recruitment process at all levels within the organization. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, ability to accept responsibility, take initiative, problem solve and exercise good judgment. Position also requires flexibility and adaptability in order to handle interruptions and changing priorities. Requires ability to maintain confidential information.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of human resources information management systems.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and local fair employment laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Affirmative Action reporting standards and requirements.
  • Knowledge of Wage, salary, and benefits administration laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Knowledge of Training and employee development principles.
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve goals and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff, management, vendors, contractors, consultants, Board representatives, and other parties.
  • Ability to lead, facilitate and participate in-group meetings.
  • Ability to utilize human resources information systems and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Ability to apply effective interpersonal skills, such as courtesy, sensitivity, and thoughtfulness.
