About The Position

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of HR and recruiting support to assigned account(s) within the region while supporting Corporate HR initiatives as needed. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, and requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and other team members. The recruiter will work closely with the operations team, corporate recruiting team, and HR to ensure successful hiring and retention of talent for Xanitos.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience; healthcare or related industry experience preferred.
  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong judgment, tact, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (UKG preferred) and web-based recruitment tools.
  • Proficiency in various interview techniques (structured, competency-based, behavioral).
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for legal hiring practices.
  • Proficiency with job boards, social networking sites, and job fairs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, judgment, and listening skills.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in an onsite role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Process job requisitions and oversee requisition cycle management.
  • Act as liaison with local employment and advertising agencies.
  • Coordinate employment testing, reference checks, background checks, and drug testing according to location requirements.
  • Prepare offer letters, launch onboarding, coordinate medical appointments, etc.
  • Facilitate onsite recruiting meetings and provide regular reporting to the corporate recruiting team.
  • Source candidates through various methods: local outreach, job boards, social media, networking, job fairs, internship programs, and referrals.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit, according to company standards.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, including state laws,  throughout the recruitment process.
  • Facilitate onboarding, including orientation and other location-specific requirements.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate quality, sourcing effectiveness).
  • Collaborate with HR to monitor employee needs and identify trends related to turnover and retention.
