The Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Manager plays a key role in delivering a high-quality experience for candidates, hiring managers, and the broader MPR team. This position leads the full recruitment lifecycle and serves as a critical partner in ensuring hiring processes are efficient, organized, and consistently executed across multiple office locations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in supporting highly specialized technical searches, complex schedules, and maintaining strong attention to detail across multiple open roles. The Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Manager will work closely with MPR’s leadership to manage interview logistics, candidate communications, and recruiting systems, while gaining exposure to broader human resources strategies. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-centered environment and takes pride in creating smooth, professional experiences for others. The Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Manager has the opportunity to develop deep understanding of recruiting operations and technical hiring practices, making this an excellent foundation for continued growth in human resources. This is a full-time, exempt position and will report to the Director of Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in a Recruiting Manager role with a solid background in development of recruitment strategy for technical recruiting
  • Experience of consulting, professional services, or technical recruiting environment
  • Knowledge, expertise, and creativity in developing targeted sourcing plans including social networking sites, college campuses, internal referral programs, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legal principles around recruiting
  • Understanding of Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) principles
  • Flexible, motivated, resourceful and organized in a multi-functional role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work across functional teams
  • Ability to accept and grow from constructive feedback
  • Motivated to expand skills and knowledge, as well as tackle new problems and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System is preferred (iCIMS a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Develop and execute recruitment, selection, and interview strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, and create job descriptions
  • Identify and attract top talent by building relationships with job seekers and candidates
  • Use market research to determine where to find the best, diverse talent who fit our business, technical, and cultural needs
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics to analyze and improve the effectiveness of hiring processes
  • Engage across the organization to involve others in the recruiting process
  • Oversee the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and make recommendations to improve functionality
  • Partner with recruiting agencies as appropriate
  • Engage with the marketing department to develop social media strategies focused on recruitment
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
