Requirements

  • Clinical experience in ophthalmology or a related field, particularly with laser procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the refractive department, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Assisting surgeons in providing professional care to patients undergoing refractive laser procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
  • Ensuring laser calibration standards are met and scheduling timely servicing of lasers when necessary to ensure equipment integrity.
  • Effectively communicating the benefits of Vance Thompson Vision's refractive vision correction program to potential referrers and patients.
