Requirements

Clinical experience in ophthalmology or a related field, particularly with laser procedures.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the refractive department, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient utilization of resources.
Assisting surgeons in providing professional care to patients undergoing refractive laser procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Ensuring laser calibration standards are met and scheduling timely servicing of lasers when necessary to ensure equipment integrity.
Effectively communicating the benefits of Vance Thompson Vision's refractive vision correction program to potential referrers and patients.
