Nucor Steel Lexington is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Refractory Lead. Responsibilities will include developing Nucor culture where Safety is a value that is continually demonstrated. Other responsibilities will include selecting, teaching, and training a team in all aspects of steel production while working closely with peers within the leadership team to develop consistent guidelines for the Nucor Lexington team.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• 2 years of Melt Shop experience
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
