About The Position

Job Summary: The Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) is responsible for providing basic and advanced PSG services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The Registered PSG Technologist performs standard as well as advanced PSG studies. The individual will employ basic/complex physiologic monitoring and participate in training, cross-training, product evaluation, research, and technology development. The RPSGT is required to deliver services to patients in all areas of the hospital and within the laboratory setting. The individual performs departmental duties day and night as required. The individual is responsible for the monitoring and delivery of respiratory related duties during the performance of studies. The person in this position is expected to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined with indirect, minimal supervision and must make many independent decisions. Requirements

  • Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) preferred with registry eligible status required.
  • Registry eligible candidates must obtain RPSGT credential within one year from date of hire.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
