Your Role on the Team Position Summary: A licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the state of California who will provide Respiratory Services according to the scope of the Respiratory Care Practice Act and the hospital policy and procedure manuals. The RCP will provide respiratory therapy services to inpatients and outpatients as ordered by the physician caring for the patients of ages: Child, Adolescents, Adults, and Older Adults. Under the supervision of the Technician Coordinator and the Director of the Cardiopulmonary Department, the RECP provides respiratory care as directed by physician order. Tasks include, but are not limited to basic respiratory care, emergency respiratory care, ventilatory management, pulmonary testing, and some cardiology procedures.
