About The Position

We’re looking for a Mammography/DXA Technologist who brings skill, compassion, and great communication to every patient interaction. You’ll explain procedures clearly, encourage questions, and create a calm, supportive experience. You’ll prepare and maintain Digital and DXA equipment, perform required QC tests, assist Radiologists during interventional breast procedures, and produce high‑quality images while minimizing radiation in line with MQSA and ACR standards. Accurate QC documentation, maintaining a repeat rate below 4%, and collaborating with Clinical Engineering and PACS teams are all part of the role. Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist required (ARRT).
  • Licensed in the state where work is being performed.
  • Maintain CEU’s as required by the State & National levels.
  • Mammogram Certification required within 1 year after orientation/training is complete.
  • Breast health—normal and abnormal aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Performs breast imaging services and other Women’s imaging services in the Center for Women's Wellness, while respecting patient’s dignity and maintaining privacy.
  • Meets patient's need for accurate information in unhurried, responsive manner.
  • Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
  • Explain procedures clearly, encourage questions, and create a calm, supportive experience.
