About The Position

Our communities specialize in senior living and behavioral health services. The Regional Director of Operations oversees daily operations across regional communities, ensuring all aspects of resident care, staff development, and administration align with company policies and regulatory standards. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations of Senior Living and agrees to comply with the duties outlined below. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Prior multi‑site management experience in assisted living, memory care, or long‑term care required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, regulatory compliance, and senior living operations.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to flexible scheduling.
  • Must be able to pass background check

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support Executive Directors to ensure consistent resident care, staff development, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct on‑site community visits at least twice per year to monitor compliance with HME Care/Peaceful Pines standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all state, local, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage & Hour, and safety standards.
  • Implement corporate programs, promote company values, and drive best‑practice processes across all communities.
  • Oversee community budgets, guiding EDs in financial planning and monitoring P&L statements and general ledgers.
  • Review monthly financial reports with EDs, providing actionable feedback to improve fiscal outcomes.
  • Support cost‑control efforts and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality care.
  • Mentor EDs, foster team collaboration, and support professional growth within each community.
  • Lead regular regional meetings to review performance, address staffing needs, and strengthen employee engagement.
  • Promote initiatives that support staff recognition, skill-building, and long‑term retention.
  • Support EDs in maintaining high resident satisfaction through strong communication and feedback processes.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing to enhance community visibility and support occupancy goals.
  • Provide guidance during crises or resident concerns to ensure compassionate and timely responses.
  • Ensure communities maintain updated emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular safety drills.
  • Monitor quality benchmarks, address gaps in care or compliance, and support continuous improvement.
  • Oversee property maintenance standards to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming environments.
  • Serve as a liaison across departments to support smooth operations and timely problem‑solving.
  • Provide regular performance, operational, and financial updates to senior leadership.
  • Promote a unified, mission‑driven culture across all communities.
