Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Regional Discipline Leader to lead our Bridges & Structures team in Florida! The Regional Discipline Leader is responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative and financial aspects of the Bridge & Structures Discipline in a specific region. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in the civil engineering industry with 10+ years of bridge engineering experience required.
  • PE (professional engineer) license required.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior DOT experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, managerial direction and guidance for the region to achieve established goals.
  • Directs overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work.
  • Responsible for discipline marketing and business development.
  • Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services.
  • Responsible for billings and collections.
  • Works with the geographic discipline leaders on resource sharing and staffing needs.
  • Responsible for regional training and staff development.
  • Monitor staff utilization regularly and take corrective action if necessary.
  • Complies and ensures others compliance with all CED policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program.
  • Travel regularly to the various regions and offices.
