About The Position

This role exists to support the vision of the Welfare and Self-Reliance Services: "We strive to follow Jesus Christ by embracing the two great commandments to love God and love our neighbor as we: a) minister to temporal needs, b) build spiritual and temporal self-reliance, and c) bless both givers and receivers". RESs assist regional employment managers in providing employment support services to all Church members and job seekers in the region. RESs set objectives and deliver results to meet operational goals that have a direct impact at a regional level, while providing tactical input into programs and services in support of the organization's business priorities. This role has training responsibilities that requires deep knowledge within its professional discipline. Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work. From the IT professional who develops an app that sends the gospel message worldwide, to the facilities manager who maintains our buildings— giving Church members places to worship, teach, learn, and receive sacred ordinances—our employees seek innovative ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. They are literally working in His kingdom. Only members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment.
