About The Position

Are you ready to shape the human resources landscape across a dynamic and rapidly expanding region. Kiwa is seeking a visionary Regional HR Director to lead our HR transformation across multiple business entities in North America & Canada. From our U.S. headquarters in Houston, you will take on a strategic leadership role overseeing more than 2,000 employees driving transformation, harmonization, HR excellence and operational agility in line with our global vision. This is not a supporting role—it’s a directive position, designed to architect the HR strategy in a period of exceptional growth in close collaboration with the responsible COO and global CHRO. You’ll be the guiding force behind a unified HR agenda across the region.

Requirements

  • Proven international HR leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US and Canada benefits in a self-medical insured environment.
  • Strong track record in M&A and post-merger HR integration.
  • Expertise in HCM systems and employment condition harmonization.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • Decisive leadership and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or other languages are a plus.
  • An experienced HR leader who understands the possibilities and challenges of working in a matrix organization
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Houston area.
  • U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (mandatory).
  • A connector and influencer who sets direction and builds alignment.
  • Able to operate within a global framework while delivering local impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of senior HR professionals across diverse companies who will initially be reporting into this role with a dotted line.
  • Enable HR to continue to support the aggressive organic and inorganic growth strategy.
  • Own all regional M&A matters, including all due-diligence and all subsequent integration topics.
  • Champion and support building a Kiwa culture across North America & Canada.
  • Align HR strategy with business goals and global corporate policies.
  • Harmonize tools and employment conditions.
  • Implement and optimize HR and Payroll systems to gain efficiency and elevate our employee value proposition.
  • Shape and execute regional HR strategy with precision and impact.
  • Provide expert guidance on policy, organizational development, and change management.
  • Oversee HR budgeting and financial planning.
  • Foster performance and growth across a diverse HR team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal standards.
