About The Position
The Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) is recruiting for an energized and collaborative Regional Maintenance Technician I to be a part of the Mountain Regional Maintenance Team. This position will learn the skills to perform general preventative maintenance and like-in-kind Force Account system replacements. The Regional Maintenance Technician I position is a basic level position that does not require any previous experience in the maintenance or construction trades. The only requirements to be successful, is to have a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. As a Regional Maintenance/Construction Technician I, you will be taught the skills and gain useful experience in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of general, plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Requirements

- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma or a sufficient year-for-year combination of education and experience associated with a variety of mechanical or building trades OR An equivalent combination of education and experience
- May require current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Type I, II, III or Universal technician as required by Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations Part 82, Subpart F.
