About The Position

POSITION SUMMMARY: The Regional Manager provides day-to-day leadership for CPG’s Critical Services Technicians across multiple service lines (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical Power Systems, DC Power and Facility Staffing). They ensure the safety and competency of his/her technicians to provide the highest levels of installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mission critical equipment. The manager will be responsible for overseeing job planning and execution, risk management, reviewing reports and developing procedures that assure the client’s expectations are met every time. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards regarding services and construction.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in writing JHAs, MOPS, technical reports and procedures.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)
  • EPA Refrigerant Certification Universal
  • Must be able to pass government background checks, attain and maintain a federal security clearance and gain access to facilities that require proof of vaccination status (i.e. Covid-19 vaccine/booster).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience bidding and executing mission critical work for federal and/or commercial customers
  • Experience in critical facilities including federal facilities, power generations plants or data centers
  • Project leadership.
  • OEM Training and experience on precision cooling systems (CRAC’s, CRAH’s, DSE’s, etc.) from various OEM’s including Vertiv, Munters, Petra, AAON, Carrier, Trane, etc.
  • Experience with Controls and BMS.
  • Experience with pumps, piping, valves, compressors.
  • Knowledge and experience using basic Computer skills including MS Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of BAS controls and OEM HVAC controls

Responsibilities

  • Provides effective oversight, leadership and administration of safety processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for overseeing and leading efforts across multiple service lines.
  • Responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of CPG technicians.
  • Responsible for inter-team logistical and labor coordination as necessary.
  • Maintains a high quality of service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Accomplishes staff management by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Create and inspire team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Perform site walks and estimating for potential new work.
  • Identify and analyze project deficiencies; Formulate and document plans of action which ensure future deficiencies are eliminated.
  • Review and approve weekly timesheets.
  • Create MOPs, SOPs, EOPs and other technical reports and procedures.
  • Ensure operational, maintenance and emergency methods of procedure (MOPs) are strictly used.
  • Be familiar with all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations.
  • Travel to additional locations (25 to 30%)
  • Train, influence and motivate team members.
  • Other assigned tasks as requested
  • Be available/accessible 24/7 for service issues, troubleshooting and managing service techs.
