About The Position

The Regional Market Executive (RME) leads high‑performing community and Value‑Based Enterprise (VBE) teams to expand patient access to home health and hospice services across their region. This leader is responsible for recruiting, developing, and coaching Area Market Executives (AMEs) and growth caregivers, fostering a collaborative culture that drives accountability and performance. The RME partners closely with Growth leadership and operational teams to design, implement, and refine regional growth strategies that align with organizational priorities and budget goals. By leveraging market insights and clinical partnerships, the RME drives the launch and expansion of programs, integrates care coordination initiatives, and ensures seamless transitions across Providence hospitals, JV partners, and community providers. Focused on building and sustaining provider relationships and community engagement, the RME identifies opportunities to enhance visibility, improve patient outcomes, and support strategic growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent education/experience).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
  • Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.
  • Demonstrated track record in growth, new business development, and aligning sales efforts with operational capabilities.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with industry experts and key influencers.
  • Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of sales or growth leadership experience, with at least five years in home‑based healthcare or an adjacent industry.
  • Regional or area leadership experience.
  • Experience managing home health and hospice operations in a regional or multi‑site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard growth and VBE caregivers in collaboration with Area Market Executives (AMEs) and other leaders.
  • Conduct ride‑alongs, in‑market observations, and joint sales calls to support and coach AMEs and caregivers, providing field‑based mentorship and skill development.
  • Create and monitor development plans to build capability and mentor high‑potential talent.
  • Drive accountability for monthly and annual growth objectives; track and evaluate team performance against key metrics (e.g., referrals, conversions, response time).
  • Oversee community Book of Business creation, assignment, and productivity across the region.
  • Collaborate with Growth leadership and AMEs to design and execute regional growth strategies for VBE, home health, and hospice.
  • Use market data and performance insights to implement, refine, and measure initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation of care coordination and service enhancement plans to increase referrals and admissions.
  • Collaborate with Providence hospitals, JV partners, and clinical teams to ensure seamless care transitions and advance VBE care coordination goals.
  • Build and maintain supportive relationships with JV leaders, ministry partners, providers, and community stakeholders.
  • Support AMEs in planning and delivering educational and marketing opportunities for local providers and professional groups.
  • Monitor and report on regional trends, competitive pressures, staffing challenges, and industry developments.
  • Partner with program and operations leaders to align growth strategies with financial and resource planning.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure exceptional customer and patient service through responsive and needs‑based engagement.
  • Lead new program design, process improvement, and performance evaluation to ensure long-term viability.
  • Track and communicate progress toward strategic and operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
