About The Position

If you are a Project Manager (PM) or Project Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Central Regional Office in Tinley Park, IL, you will manage regional projects to ensure the customer and company goals are realized. The Project Manager will work closely with our proposal and sales team to implement perfect execution principles through the entire customer experience. Additionally, the Project Manager will provide on-site support for installation and start up teams. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Oversee engineers executing regional projects and provide the specific project management and engineering support based on the specific customer needs. Primary lead for all aspects of the project including kick off meetings, overseeing BOM and network design generation & release, maintaining project documentation & assisting in financial forecasting with both management and the customer. Resolve customer issues such as technical, contractual and warranty situation by balancing financial and customer satisfactions goals. Plan and implement project startup schedules for systems with your engineering group and customers with sliding customer schedules and conflicting manpower demands from multiple projects and emergency service requirements. Work closely with the Aftermarket Sales Team in the region to identify potential projects and develop work scopes for regional projects. Who You Are: You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You take a proactive approach to shape and influence stakeholder expectations, and you anticipate conflicts before they happen, based on knowledge of interpersonal and group dynamics. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in engineering Must have related experience in project management of custom engineered projects or services 5+ years' related experience in field service, project management or project engineering Demonstrated history of progressively responsible engineering or leadership roles in an industrial services company Willing and able to travel up to 30% Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Current certification in project management Ovation Control System exposure or other Distributed Control Systems (DCS) experience At Emerson, our employee’s passion for innovation and results drives our success. The salary range for this role is $86,500- $110,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
